The tender wait
There are so many facets to the physical term . One of these is the patience, the long wait of all the hopeful people we read about in the daily newspapers of their long and patient wait to immigrate to some new land where life has a brighter, better and a more humane promise for the future of their children and are not condemned to go through the same painful trials in life that they themselves had to endure. So, my inspiration came not from the physical act but the sentiments that accompanied this forlorn hope born out of the affection for their loved ones. Armed with my new media tools I set about making an engraved image of this emotion.

Artist and Printmaker After art school came to Paris in the early eighties where for 10 years worked at the well known Stanley William Hayer's printmaking studio for contemporary viscosity etchings and engravings the *Atelier 17*. Now have moved to Angers in the famous valley de Loire and have set my own indépendant atelier where I do mostly digital paintings and also developed a new technique for prints based on new media and using of the chine collé method. The latest works too are in the New Media method but without the chin collé.
