Receding ambitions
After more than a year of this sanitary crisis related to the covid-19 virus and the many restrictions placed on our actions outside our homes many of us found that they were nursing a minor form of moral and psychological dejection every time a new announcement of some new measure was made by the authorities and which pushed further away all or any budding aspirations of a quick return to those carefree happier times of the earlier pre-crisis days.
So, going back to my computer’ drawing board and using the new media method I came up with this image which then I printed onto an acid free heavy art paper.
Artist and Printmaker After art school came to Paris in the early eighties where for 10 years worked at the well known Stanley William Hayer's printmaking studio for contemporary viscosity etchings and engravings the *Atelier 17*. Now have moved to Angers in the famous valley de Loire and have set my own indépendant atelier where I do mostly digital paintings and also developed a new technique for prints based on new media and using of the chine collé method. The latest works too are in the New Media method but without the chin collé.
